Abstract: Wireless networks in smart city infrastructures are increasingly exposed to complex cyber threats due to their large-scale deployment and high interconnectivity. This paper presents a structured approach to vulnerability analysis and threat modeling for such networks. The study identifies key attack surfaces in smart city wireless systems and evaluates potential risks associated with them. A systematic modeling approach is applied to assess threat propagation and network weaknesses under different attack scenarios. The results highlight critical vulnerabilities in communication channels and infrastructure components, emphasizing the need for proactive security mechanisms. The study contributes to improving the resilience of smart city wireless networks through enhanced risk assessment and structured threat modeling techniques.
