Abstract: Vertical farming systems are increasingly used to address food security challenges in urban environments. This paper presents an IoT-based monitoring and intelligent control framework for microgreens cultivation. The system integrates sensor networks to continuously monitor environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, and light intensity. Data-driven control strategies are applied to optimize growth conditions and improve yield quality. The proposed approach enables real-time adjustment of environmental factors, supporting efficient resource utilization in controlled agricultural systems. Experimental results demonstrate that IoT-enabled monitoring and automated control significantly enhance microgreens growth performance and system stability in vertical farming setups.
