Abstract: One of the promising approaches to addressing the growing demand for fresh vegetables in urban environments is the development of vertical farming systems for microgreens cultivation. This study investigates the effect of potassium humate on the growth and development of Swiss chard (Beta vulgaris subsp. cicla) and tarragon (Artemisia dracunculus) grown under hydroponic conditions. During the initial stage, plants were kept in darkness with periodic spraying, followed by controlled lighting and irrigation. Growth stimulation was performed using potassium humate solutions at different concentrations (1–3%). Germination rate, biometric parameters, fresh weight, accumulation of biologically active substances, and visual quality were evaluated. The results showed that a 3% potassium humate solution had the most positive effect on growth, development, and marketable appearance of microgreens. The findings confirm that potassium humate improves morphophysiological characteristics and can be effectively applied in intensive hydroponic production systems.
